We become more effective in our work. Such outcomes are wonderful; yet we cannot strive for them or make them happen.All that we can do is prepare the necessary conditions. We need to be sure that the soil is well prepared, rich and loose and fertile, so that if the seed falls, it will spring forth rapidly. The student’s job is not to be hunting for outcomes, but to be preparing the way. As the Bible says, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord.” That is our work."
